Lazytrains are a soulful electric quartet from the region of Greece. Members influences are going back from rootsy blues, to gnarly gospel vocals blended with a twist of swing rhythmic backbeats and crossover pop atmosphere. Lazytrains love to perform and share their passion for music delivering high energy performances.
BLUES EUROPEAN UNION
The Lazytrains represented Greece in the European Blues Challenge Festival 2022, under the auspices of the Blues European Union. It took place in Sweden. 25 countries take place from Europe. The contest is held for 10 yeard in European level.
CONCERTS – EVENTS
Lazytrains have made their appearance in numerous of festivals around Greece. Such as Technopolis for the celebration of the 25 years of the 98.4 radio station, Hard As a Rock, B-Fest, Art4More, and also in the European Music Day and many others. They have also performed in many music stages in Athens (such as Kytarro, Zoo, Orpheus, Blue Bear, Saint George, Rockarolla, Kaxon, Old Habbits, Candela, Okio, Palacios, K55, Apolis, The Crow, Hoxton Micraasis, Donovans, etc .
The band also took part in Christmas Shows of the Municipality of Elefsina, as well as in events organized by the Municipality of Peristeri in the summer and the New Year’s Eve of 2019. Also their contributed with their music at a short film directed by Loukas Giasiranis called Kyklos Emmonis, and invited by the Greek National Radio station to record 5 new year themed songs special for a celebrational broadcast for 2023 new year’s eve.
One of these songs is New years Blues, a song about the coming new year and all that it leaves behind. A tune about the melancholy of the lit streets and lost dreams of 2023.
