Belgian rhythm & blues outfit The Dibs return with Just For You, a vibrant new album released in March 2026 on Naked Records. Built on deep grooves, soulful vocals, Hammond heat, blues guitar grit and a fully organic band sound, the record captures everything that makes The Dibs stand out: rhythm & blues at heart, but open to soul, funk, jazz, gospel, country touches and blues-rock energy. The album runs across 11 tracks, including “No Sleep,” “Stop Fooling Around,” “Sick and Tired,” “Live Life,” “Like Lovers Do,” and the title track “Just For You.”

With this release, The Dibs draw inspiration from an era when music relied on feel, performance and human chemistry rather than electronics or artificial intelligence. The result is warm, dynamic and timeless: songs that sound rooted in classic rhythm & blues tradition, yet alive with contemporary drive and personality. Their earlier single “Stop Fooling Around” already pointed the way, blending catchy hooks with a hopeful spirit and the band’s unmistakable “hot soul sauce.”

Formed in 2019, The Dibs are a five-piece Belgian-Dutch band made up of seasoned musicians with deep experience across the blues, soul and roots scene. The current lineup features Peter Jacobs on vocals, Stanley Patty on guitar and vocals, Guy Engelen on bass, Jeffrey Gijbels on drums, and Bart Billekens on keyboards and vocals. Their sound combines soulful rhythm & blues with an authentic but contemporary approach, and their live reputation has helped them earn strong recognition, including second place at the Belgian Blues Challenge in both 2024 and 2025.
