That’s why we’re thrilled to welcome RattleSquad to our AirPlay rotation, with songs we’ve just added to the station. If you love Heavy Rock ’n’ Roll with groove, attitude, and big riffs, this is a band you’ll want on your radar.
RattleSquad are a Heavy Rock ’n’ Roll band from Athens, Greece.
Driven vocals, fiery guitars, and a heavy but groovy rhythm section!
The band was formed in the summer of 2019, when bassist and songwriter Angelos Papangelou began jamming with drummer William V. Baldo. Soon after, singer and the band’s main lyricist Greg Acontides joined the lineup.
The Squad’s formation was completed in spring 2022 with the addition of guitarist and songwriter Johnny Free. Before long, the band was ready to record its first release. In September 2023, they released “1233”, which received excellent reviews. This was followed by live shows across many venues in Athens and beyond. At the moment, the band is in the final stages of producing its second release, scheduled to be released in early 2026.
Their album “1233” is a strong statement of modern Heavy Rock ’n’ Roll: punchy, riff-driven, and built for the stage. Two tracks that stand out are:
“Saos” — a melodic Rock song with atmosphere and emotional lift.
“Lonesome Highway” — a dynamic Hard Rock track, fast and powerful, made to be played loud.
