One of the best sounding rock albums, we have come by, is the new LP “Midnight at the Valencia” by Cardinal Black.

Cardinal Black is a Welsh-formed rock band comprised of Tom Hollister, Chris Buck and Adam Roberts. While they are a relatively new band, their members have been playing together for years, with some of their music written years prior to the band’s official formation. They are known for their soul-soaked blues and rock sound, and have gained recognition for their distinctive sound and meticulous production. The band officially formed in 2020, but the core members have been playing together for a long time.

Chris Buck: Guitarist.  
Adam Roberts: Drummer.  

Cardinal Black blends rock, blues, and soul influences into their music. Their first album, “January Came Close,” was released in 2025.  We highly recommend their new album “Midnight at the Valencia” where something really interesting happens. Contrary to most of the new albums where usually only one or two songs stand out with this album all songs are really good. Do not miss it.
