Dallas, TX is currently hometown for one of the most energetic and versatile guitar slingers to come from Oklahoma/Texas. Take your pick, Shawn Pittman has moved quite some times between these two states that seem to have something in the water that works wonders for guitaristicly talented musicians.

Shawn does not just have a glowing solo career, he is currently also making waves as one of the three frontmen of the Texas Blues Guitar Summit (with Anson Funderburgh and Mike Morgan). When in Europe he tours with the fantastic Ozdemirs as his backing band. They now also serve as the basis for what may well be Pittman’s best album to date.
